A New Year

I realize I’ve been pretty MIA from the blogging world, as of late.  I took a hiatus from posting…I needed time to regroup, think about where I wanted to take this, and what I was comfortable sharing with the world.  I feel like I’m in a much better place, at this point, which is what I had hoped to accomplish.

2015…a year filled with hope and promise.  I’m doing my best to stay optimistic.  2012 and 2013 weren’t the years for us regarding our TTC journey, but that doesn’t mean that 2015 can’t be different.  I have an RE appointment in a few weeks, and from there we’ll discuss what comes next.  I need a new plan in place, or else I’ll continue to feel like all we are doing is spinning our wheels.  That said, I’m nervous.  I’m worried about my response to hormones, I’m concerned about the financial impact of treatments, and I’m terrified of the emotional upheaval this will cause.

But, aside from those worries and fears, I’m going to do my best to try to remain optimistic.  I want to go into 2015 with a bright outlook, and keep it for as long as possible.  They say “mind over matter” can accomplish anything…let’s see if they’re right.

Wishing you all a joyous 2015, filled with love and laughter!
